While Hollywood scrambles to conjure up a blockbuster EDM festival flick, Dustin Hoffman’s son, Jake Hoffman, has quietly starred in an indie film, Enter the Dangerous Mind, which explores the “dark side of dubstep.”

Directed by Youssef Delara and Victor Teran, EDM also boasts Thomas Dekker, Nikki Reed, Jason Priestley and, of course, Scott Bakula, and depicts a “socially awkward EDM musician with a traumatic past,” who must silence the evil voices in his head by making sidechain-heavy EDM.

The film, which was initially titled Snap, premiered at Cannes and SXSW in 2013, but only just secured a US theatrical release.

Enter the Dangerous Mind is in theaters Feb. 6th. Watch the trailer below.
